I’ve voted to ban the jets in the past. The Santa Monica Airport produces too much pollution in adjacent residential areas and creates significant safety concerns.

I oppose the measure sponsored by the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. I fully support the City’s Charter Amendment and urge all Santa Monica voters to do so as well.
